Amazon vastly improves the appeal of the new Motorola Razr+ (2026) with unexpected $220 discount
One of Motorola's arguably overpriced new foldables is... not that costly anymore.

But while I remain hesitant to call the Razr+ (2026) the best foldable phone you can buy right now for a simple reason I will elaborate on a little later, Amazon's rapidly improving discounts are certainly boosting a value proposition that seemed absolutely non-existent at first.
The e-commerce giant timidly started its avalanche of Razr Plus (2026) deals after the end of this year's Prime Day festival with a modest $55 price cut last week, quickly bumping that up to a much more notable $160 and now a whopping $220.
That's right, you can slash no less than 220 bucks off the $1,099.99 list price of this ultra-versatile and reasonably powerful new handset with 6.9 and 4-inch screens, as well as a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, and no, you don't need an Amazon Prime membership or anything else of that sort to claim an unprecedented promotion that's likely to go unbeaten for quite some time.
At its lower-than-ever price, the Motorola Razr+ (2026) is currently a little more affordable than the Galaxy Z Flip 7, which Samsung continues to sell at a substantial $200 discount of its own from a regular price of $1,099.99.

The large primary screen is without a doubt one of the biggest Razr Plus (2026) selling points, especially at this newly reduced price. | Image by PhoneArena
Compared to the Z Flip 7, the latest Razr Plus edition packs a bigger battery with faster charging and better cameras (at least in theory). Of course, before you pull the trigger here, you should also consider that an undoubtedly improved Galaxy Z Flip 8 is right around the corner... with a much higher price tag at launch.
But the biggest problem of the Razr+ (2026) is actually another Motorola foldable... from last year. Yes, I'm talking about the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Razr Ultra (2025), which is incredibly still sold through its manufacturer's US website at a lower price than the single 256GB storage variant of the Razr Plus (2026) with no less than a terabyte of digital hoarding room. That's an epic and simply unbeatable deal, and it will probably remain that way... forever.
