There's no universe in which the Galaxy S25 Edge could ever be considered a hit, but even though the razor-thin Snapdragon 8 Elite powerhouse never proved popular enough to warrant a sequel, I believe it deserves some attention at a heavily reduced price of $549.99.

Yes, the 2025-released high-ender is cheaper than ever before in brand-new condition, although you will need to settle for a 90-day Woot warranty if you want to slash 550 bucks (or 50 percent) off the handset's regular starting price of $1,099.99. Alternatively, you can pay $649.99 instead of $1,299.99 for a 512GB storage variant if the 256 gigs of local digital hoarding room found on the entry-level configuration isn't enough.

The newer and better Galaxy S26 Plus is on sale at a smaller but undeniably substantial discount... if you can afford it.

With a 5.8mm profile, powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under the hood, 12GB RAM, a 200MP primary rear-facing camera, and a... decidedly modest 3,900mAh battery supporting 25W charging technology, the Galaxy S25 Edge can be an extremely smart buy right now at $549.99 in an entry-level 258GB configuration or $649.99 with 512 gigs of internal storage space. Be warned that these cheaper-than-ever units only come with a 90-day Woot warranty and an open box even though they are technically brand-new and unused.

If you want to keep your spending to an absolute minimum, a renewed Galaxy S25 Edge in a Titanium Jet Black colorway can be a great idea... if you can live with the inherent compromises of buying a phone that's not technically new, unused, or undamaged.

That's an even heftier $650 (or 50 percent) discount, and it almost goes without saying that the latest killer Woot deal eclipses a promotion run by the same Amazon-owned e-tailer a couple of months back. As for Amazon itself, the e-commerce giant actually gives you the opportunity to save even more on your Galaxy S25 Edge purchase today, but only if you're okay with getting a "renewed" unit in "excellent" condition rather than a brand-new phone with an "open box."

Heavily criticized for its very obvious compromises at its original prices, the now deeply discounted S25 Edge might feel pretty much impossible to turn down for a lot of hardcore Samsung fans who can't afford a member of the new and improved Galaxy S26 family or even the Galaxy S25 Plus.

In many ways, mind you, this bad boy is better than the just-unveiled Galaxy S26 FE, including raw power, multitasking capabilities, and camera performance. Yes, the 200MP primary rear-facing snapper alone should make you strongly consider a purchase at $549.99 and up while that's still possible, and of course, the 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X screen with 120Hz refresh rate technology is almost just as impressive.

What's definitely not impressive is the 3,900mAh battery, but what do you expect from a handset that tips the scales at 163 grams and measures an incredible 5.8mm in thickness?
