Google's Pixel 10 Pro Fold is getting harder to turn down at its mind-blowing Prime Day discounts

That's because Google's latest book-style giant is also more affordable today than at the very beginning of this year's Prime Day extravaganza on Tuesday, going $415 off its $1,799 list price with 256 gigs of internal storage space in a single Moonstone colorway.
While that's obviously not a major improvement over the handset's $400 markdown in both 256 and 512GB variants earlier this week, it does make the Pixel 10 Pro Fold cheaper than ever before with (almost) no strings attached, as well as 115 bucks cheaper than the aforementioned Z Fold 7 in an entry-level model.
The two foldable powerhouses are quite similar in a number of ways, mind you, but while the primary screen size stands at an identical 8 inches and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 sports a slightly larger secondary display, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold packs a much heftier battery. Unfortunately for hardcore Google fans, that adds quite a bit of weight and thickness to the more affordable device, which is however not ugly by any measure of the word.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold also comes with an extra four gigs of RAM (at least in a 256GB storage variant) compared to its direct rival, and because this is a Google-made handset, you already know its main camera system is a knockout, combining 48, 10.8, and 10.5MP sensors and leveraging all sorts of cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance your real-life photography experience.

The key weakness, as identified in our comprehensive Pixel 10 Pro Fold review last year, remains the Tensor G5 processor, which sadly can't come close to the Snapdragon 8 Elite inside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in terms of gaming performance. Still, the overall value equation is undeniably strong enough right now to warrant some careful consideration before you decide what your best course of action might be this summer shopping season.
You can obviously always wait for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Z Fold 8 Ultra, but if you do, don't be surprised if you end up paying a small fortune for your next big foldable.
