Note I or II??

I'm a nebie to this site, but you all sound quite informative. My Question:,,,, I have an opp. ti get the NOTE I at no cost, Costco & rebates,,,,and then I saw the Note II @ $300 !! Even the in-store Sprint & Tmobile salespeople said for that kind of savings & the very few refinements, that they would go for the Note I,which re-assured me to get the Note I.

ANY thoughts , endorsements, or turn-offs one the model I over the II, espec. with the I at n/c when done!!??
