Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Phone owned for less than a year

I only have good things to say about the S24 Ultra. I am far from an expert, probably just not far ahead of begginer. Still I'm amazed at how useful, fast, and relatively easy to use this phone is. I don't really have anything to compare as my last phone was the S22 and though I liked that phone this one is so far above the S22.

S24 Ultra First 6 Months
Phone owned for less than a year

So, lets begin with a very very basic rundown. The screen is godly, im coming from the pixel pro lineup of phones and they had nice oled screens with a rich black but good lord the S24 just has such vibrant colors! the screen brightness bar is a little weird, like the lowest point and the second lowest is 2x the difference but the middle and one notch above the middle is no difference? not particularly bad but it is weird. The refresh rate, it has 3 different rates. 120, 60, and ???. I know its weird but the screen can kinda go below 60fps on battery saver if you do weird stuff. That aside it also has 3 resolutions, for some reason, and that is HD (1080p) FHD (1440p) and GOD (literally a quadrillion pixels per atom) Tbh there doesnt feel like much of a difference between FHD and native, i dont even know why its an option.
Battery, its BIG, and more than that it charges FAST. on a car charger it takes like an hour and a half to charger 60%. however, when i plug it into a wall socket with the turbo ultra speed charger C type (theres like 7 different "fast" chargers and this phone uses the really big one) it charges to full in MAYBE 45 minutes. usually about an hour but if your phone is empty like that then you have other issues considering this thing went 3 days without charge once, why? because i lost my charger.
now for these 3 days i had it on battery saver mode, lowest brightness, airplane mode. which was specifically so i could text people and go back into airplane to save energy. but the fact that it managed that is INSANE for a modern phone.
If you want a reference as to how mental this phone is my google pixel outputs more waste heat than this samsung spends on its WHOLE CPU. while not actually true it feels that way.

In summary, yes folding phones are cool, yeah OLEDs are really colorful, but no matter what you do samsung has you in their ring and you better believe they swing hard. This flagship is a heavyweight and it came to win, and compared to my buddies Iphone from this year and my other friends redmagic i'm just gonna say it, this phone fills that gap. Iphones have their ecosystem still, but its shrinking, and redmagic still holds the strongest phones, but by god the S24 Ultra just OBLITERATES them everywhere except that single niche. its actually brain dead how well this thing does everything.

Best Phone I ever own
Phone owned for

This is the best thing out there is the first time I own an Ultra model since I come from S22+ which is totally different, camera photos quality is so sharp, and the colors are beautiful. SOT time is great also I do not play games just normal usage like social media, WhatsApp, calls, texts, and taking photos i get 7 hours of SOT time ending my day with 40% of charge and not having to charge my phone until the next day. So, if you are looking for a beast of a phone this is the one you must have.
