iPhone for free in Japan
The iPhone isn’t incredibly popular in Japan, in contrast to the U.S. and Europe. This, however, may soon change thanks to some of the latest offers from the carrier SoftBank. It begins a discount campaign for Apple’s phones, which will continue until the end of May. Every new customer to sign a two-year contract will be able to get the 8GB version of the iPhone for free. The 16GB variant, on the other hand, will cost about $118, instead of $350. The offer sounds event better, having in mind that SoftBank’s data plan is now dropped from $69 to $45.60. We are wondering when AT&T will come up with such an alluring offer.
