Update for the LG Ally is coming this weekend - improvements in tow

Every now and then, you can still catch a glimpse of the LG Ally commercial promoting both the handset and Iron Man 2 movie. By now, there are probably some owners out there who have made use of their high flying Android smartphone with no end in sight. Much like how Iron Man himself required an upgraded suit of armor, LG Ally owners will soon be seeing an update being rolled out to them starting this weekend via OTA process. In addition to some bug fixes, this update will also naturally be accompanied with a host of performance improvements to tide over owners. Some of the new features include an increased QWERTY keyboard operability, streamlined alert functions, increased speed for the Messaging & Camera apps, improved Amazon MP3 application, preloaded Visual Voicemail app, Facebook contacts sync, and Backup Assistant. Although some may not be too earth shattering, we'd imagine owners will still take a liking for most of them.

I already got an OTA update, yesterday actually. Will there be more this weekend too???
