Unlocked Sony Xperia X can now be bought for as low as $399

Released in the US back in June for $549.99, the Sony Xperia X can now be purchased for as low as $399 unlocked - that's $150 off the original price. Right now, only Amazon is selling the Xperia X for just $399, and only the black version of the phone is available at this price. However, the other color variants (white, lime gold, and rose gold) aren't much more expensive, costing $424.

When we reviewed the Xperia X we noted that the phone was too expensive for what it offered. But $399 is not a bad price for the device, which comes with decent features like a Snapdragon 650 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage space, and a battery that lasts more than 1 day on a single charge.

Of course, instead of buying an Xperia X, you may be tempted to get the newer and more powerful Sony Xperia XZ, which is officially available in the US since earlier this month. But the Xperia XZ currently costs $699.99, so it's definitely not an option to consider if you're on a budget.
