T-Mobile Sidekick owners get a $100 gift card for their heartache

The one month free of service deal that T-Mobile hastily offered after the disastrous Sidekick server explosion occurred might not have been enough for some to swallow down. Now there are confirmations that T-Mobile is attempting to ease the pain of losing precious data for their Sidekick users that they are now offering a $100 gift card. Sure that amount may never come close to the lost contacts that will potentially never be recovered, but then again it may make some out there forget it temporarily. We're not sure how many T-Mobile Sidekick customers are out there, but this may prove to be costly for T-Mobile in the long run – who knows what some of these upset users might do. So if a $100 gift card and a free month of service can put your mind at rest, just make sure you put that money to good use somewhere.
