Sprint offers the Treo Pro at last

After a few months of delays and changes in launch dates, we can now tell you that the Treo Pro is available from Sprint after watching Alltel and Bell release their own models of the handset. The long awaited device runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and is equipped with a 2MP camera, 2.5 inch touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, Sprint TV, and 3G connectivity through Sprint's EV-DO Rev. A network. The device costs $549.99 but a $250 instant haircut and a $100 mail-in rebate bring the final cost down to $199.99 with your signature on a new two year contract. Oh, and to qualify for the rebate, you need to sign up for Sprint's Everything plan. March 15th may soon become a National holiday. Oh, it's a great day to be an American.
