Rogers Acer Liquid e priced at $79.99 with a 3-year contract?
There is no denying that the highly awaited Acer Liquid e is coming to Rogers, but now we're treated with the news of its contract pricing. Thanks to a leaked internal inventory screen shot, the Android 2.1 powered Acer Liquid e is looking to land in at $79.99 with a 3-year agreement – which is looking to be a decent catch for starters. However, it's being rumored that we could see the final price, once it's officially revealed, to tally in somewhere between $49.99 and $79.99 on contract – surely it wouldn't be too difficult for this to sell like hotcakes if it's priced at $49.99. Not to be outdone by those decent prices, future owners could just dish out a reasonable $350 to get the smartphone without any required contract commitments. Still, we're in the dark as to a concrete release date for the handset, but it shouldn't be too far off in the distance now.

This Acer phone is one of the most difficult smartphone I ever used in Asia. I was playing around with it and I just cannot seem myself using it freely without trying very hard figuring out everything. In short, their UI is very difficult to follow unlike HTC's sense UI, simple and clear. (But maybe because I am stupid?) Acer is still better at making laptops/netbooks/desktop computers.....
