It was over two months ago when we first reported that Rogers was planning on bringing on the quietly impressive Acer Liquid e Android smartphone, but now they've come out and officially confirmed that the handset is indeed coming soon. With spring quickly moving by and summer on the verge of being here, there is still no concrete release date for the Acer Liquid e handset. Even though Rogers is keeping the launch in secrecy still, we're confident that customers will still be interested in this handset despite the bevy of other high-end Android offerings hitting the market at the same time. Just as a refresher, it features a 3.5” touchscreen, 768MHz Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera, 7.2 Mbps 3G, Wi-Fi, and will come packed with the Android 2.1 from the start. Additionally, the photo from their Facebook page reveals a built-in feature called Social View which essentially is their form of syncing the address book with your Facebook contacts.
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
