Nokia Maps is given some new features with version 2.0 for Windows Phone
Good news for anyone sporting a Windows Phone powered Nokia Lumia smartphone, as the Nokia Maps app has been updated to version 2.0 – giving it some cool new features along the way that should no doubt please users.

Being more socially integrated with its maps.nokia.com portal, the new update for Windows Phone gives users the commanding ability to add photos, descriptions, and reviews to locations. Certainly adding some more personalization to the experience, you’ll be able to take a snapshot of your destination and even write a review all from your Lumia smartphone – so that it can be shared to everyone else using Nokia Maps.

In addition, your favorite locations are now synchronized with your Nokia account, which means that users can view their favorites through Nokia’s various platforms and hubs. Furthermore, you can also “pin” some of your favorite locations to your Windows Phone start screen, so that users can get quick access to it no matter what they’re doing on their smartphones.

Naturally, you’ll be notified about the update on your Lumia smartphone, but if not, you can launch the Windows Phone Marketplace and search for it manually.

Now how about you integrate Drive back into Maps. THAT would make sense.
