Countdown commences for something "smarter is coming" on Sony's site

Taking a quick peak at Sony's web site reveals a countdown for something “smarter is coming” with the silhouette of a handset beneath it – which is believed to be none other than the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. When you look deeper down into the web site's source code, you'll see a handful of references to “X10” littered throughout it which leaves little doubt to the handset in question. We've already seen a good dose of information regarding the X10's appearance with AT&T, but the interesting part about all of this are the words attached to it on the web site. If something smarter is definitely coming soon, we'd imagine that it would have to be something related to Froyo seeing that anything below that would be deemed as your average handset. Since there are few handsets sporting an official build of Froyo right now, the notion of seeing Froyo on the X10 would make for a compelling argument to really make it smarter than the average set of current Android smartphones. We'll know for sure in less than 24 hours from now!

THE PHONE WILL BE THE X10. If you tilt the screen or even brighten it, you can make out the writing on the back which clearly says X10. I was sort of hoping for a new handset but this isn't too bad either. Hopefuly they will add flash to this version because any self respecting smartphone not named the Galaxy S (only because of the processor and Super AMOLED screen) needs to have flash
