I got this phone used as a hand-me-down, and over my experience, it's been one of my favorite iPhone models of all time. I'm a big fan of smaller phones, and I like the size of them, as they're easy to use one-handedly, and the phone doesn't feel like a burden when trying to put it in my pocket, but the biggest downside is the battery life. Now I know this phone was known for not having a great battery life, but the battery degraded significantly over the 3 years of ownership. I got it at 93% Battery health, and it currently has 77% Battery health. Now I will say I use my phone heavily, but it's usually at home when on Wi-Fi and not on 5G/4G, and it's not plugged in all the time. The Camera is good, the average on an iPhone, better than my old phone, but I feel like it has poor zoom performance, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt as it doesn't have a telephoto camera. The performance is pretty good, I do feel the phone get hot when scrolling through social media, but not that hot. I only use my phone for music, communication, and entertainment though so your mileage may vary. The display is very good, with great colors, and no burn-in over the 3 years I owned the phone, and the phone gets bright enough to see outside, so no complaints there. Overall, I'd say it's a good phone for a kid who's getting their first phone, or someone who wants a smaller phone and only needs the essentials, but if not, get the 13 mini if you need a small phone.

the only size and format where square edges are good) (sorry 14 pro max)
perfect design and fit for fans of original design of iphone 4 and 5, flawless ergonomics, long lasting support and updates, but lacks battery and probably camera quality
