For months, the rumors about the launch date of the Galaxy S26 series have been all over the place, but in recent weeks they’ve settled on certain dates. A new leak seems to confirm when Samsung will present the new devices, though we may need to wait a bit longer before getting our hands on them.
Mark February 25 on your calendar
Samsung is almost certainly holding the Galaxy Unpacked event for the launch of the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026. Leaker Evan Blass has shared what looks like an official invitation for the event, confirming multiple rumors from recent weeks.
In his post, Blass says that the event will see the launch of the Galaxy S26 family and the Galaxy Buds 4 lineup. However, Samsung usually announces its new devices and starts a preorder before an official launch. The official sales of the new smartphones are expected to start on March 11.

While Samsung hasn’t sent out official invites yet, the image shared by Blass is likely authentic. The only clue about what we can expect from the event is the several Galaxy AI icons coming out of an opened box. That suggests an event focused on new artificial intelligence features.

We have already seen confirmation that the Galaxy S26 series won’t be the only star of the event. Alongside the new phones, Samsung is expected to premiere the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds. They are rumored to come with a new design, an extra color, and a redesigned case.
Which device are you most excited about to see during the Galaxy Unpacked event?
The latest Galaxy S26rumor claimed that Samsung may bump not only the starting storage of the base model to 256 GB but also its prices. On a brighter note, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may start at a lower price than the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Stronger together
Launching the Galaxy Buds 4 alongside the Galaxy S26 is a smart move from Samsung. Upgrading all your most used gadgets at the same time feels great, and pairing a smartphone purchase with new earphones is probably the best way to improve your daily life.
