Pixel 11 series: price hikes are coming this August, but how bad will it get?
Google's Pixel 11 lineup is getting more expensive this August – here's what every model could cost.

The Pixel 11 lineup is right around the corner, and if leaks are to be believed, this isn't going to be a big year for upgrades. Prices, though? Those are likely going up.
We're currently dealing with a tricky situation with mobile tech pricing. The demands from AI computing are raising the prices for memory chips and other components, and this is influencing the entire industry. Google is no exception, and its Pixel 11 series, coming next month, is reportedly not going to be spared either.
Dealabs, the French outlet known for pre-order and pricing leaks, has dropped what appear to be the full European prices for the Pixel 11 lineup – and the leak points to a price hike of roughly €100 across every model compared to the Pixel 10. Here's what we expect.
How much will the Pixel 11 cost?
According to the Dealabs leak, here are the potential Pixel 11 European prices. Worth noting: the 128 GB starting storage would reportedly not be offered anymore, so all phones would start at 256 GB.
| Model | 256 GB | 512 GB | 1 TB |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pixel 11 | €999 | €1,129 | - |
| Pixel 11 Pro | €1,199 | €1,329 | €1,589 |
| Pixel 11 Pro XL | €1,399 | €1,529 | €1,789 |
| Pixel 11 Pro Fold | €1,999 | €2,129 | €2,389 |
The leaked prices for the U.K. are as follows:
- Pixel 11 — £879 (256GB), £999 (512GB)
- Pixel 11 Pro — £1,079 (256GB), £1,199 (512GB), £1,429 (1TB)
- Pixel 11 Pro XL — £1,279 (256GB), £1,399 (512GB), £1,629 (1TB)
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold — £1,799 (256GB), £1,919 (512GB), £2,149 (1TB)
We have roughly €100 (~$114) price hikes on all models in Europe and £80 (~$107) in the UK compared to the Pixel 10.
A quick note before you start converting euros to dollars: that math won't give you a reliable picture of what Americans will pay.
Google, like all manufacturers, sets prices per market based on a range of factors – local taxes, carrier agreements, competition, and demand – so the figures above don't translate directly to US pricing.
What they do tell us, though, is that a price hike is coming. For example, the Pixel 10 Pro started at €1,099 in France (prices can vary across European countries), and the Pixel 11 Pro is leaked at €1,199 – that's a €100 jump for the Pro. Across the board, European prices are going up, and it would be surprising if the US were spared entirely.
Currently, the U.S. prices have not leaked. If I had to guess, I'd expect a $50–$100 price hike on most models with a steeper curve for high-capacity tiers. To see how that shifts the landscape, here is where things stood last year.

Here's how much the Pixel 10 series cost at launch:
| Model | 128 GB | 256 GB | 512 GB | 1 TB |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pixel 10 | $799 | $899 | - | - |
| Pixel 10 Pro | $999 | $1,099 | $1,219 | $1,449 |
| Pixel 10 Pro XL | - | $1,199 | $1,319 | $1,549 |
| Pixel 10 Pro Fold | - | $1,799 | $1,919 | $2,149 |
Last year, Google kept prices flat across the entire Pixel 10 lineup, which was notable at a time when other manufacturers were already hiking. That restraint appears to have run its course.
What's the competition doing?

The entire industry is dealing with higher memory chip costs, and manufacturers are passing those costs on to consumers.
Samsung has already raised prices on the Galaxy S26 series, with the base S26 jumping $100 to $899, and the S26 Plus climbing the same amount to $1,099. The Galaxy S26 Ultra held its starting price at $1,299, but higher storage options got more expensive.
Galaxy S26 price hikes:
- Base Galaxy S26 256 GB: $899, now up $100 from $799 for the Galaxy S25 at launch
- Galaxy S26 Plus 256 GB: $1,099, now up $100 from $999
- Galaxy S26 Ultra: same starting price as S25 Ultra ($1,299), 512 GB up $80 to $1,499, 1 TB up $140 to $1,799
Apple is widely expected to raise prices significantly for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, with analysts predicting a starting price of at least $1,299 for the Pro – and potentially as high as $1,399 if the rumored new camera system is as costly as leaks suggest.
iPhone 18 Pro price hikes (rumored):
- iPhone 18 Pro 256 GB: $1,299 – $1,399
- iPhone 18 Pro Max 256 GB: $1,399 – $1,499
Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 lineup is getting more complicated – and more expensive. The traditional book-style foldable – the real successor to the Z Fold 7 – is now expected to launch as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, with rumors pointing to a starting price of around $2,100 for the 256 GB model, a meaningful jump over the Fold 7's $1,999 launch price.
Samsung is also introducing a wider, tablet-shaped model simply called the Galaxy Z Fold 8, expected to start around $1,999. That puts it in direct competition with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Apple's first foldable iPhone is also expected to enter the mix, with rumors placing it between $1,999 and $2,500.
Pixel 11 pricing: what are your options?

Even with a price hike, there are ways to make the Pixel 11 more manageable. Carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon typically run strong promotions around major Android launches, particularly with trade-ins or new lines – and Pixels have historically been well-supported in those programs.
Google's own store also tends to offer competitive trade-in values, especially if you're coming from a recent Pixel or a competing flagship. And if you're already in the Google ecosystem, the included year of Google AI Pro (valued at around $240) that comes with Pro models does offset the price somewhat.
If the new pricing is simply too steep, the Pixel 10 series is about to become an even better value. The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are already seeing deep discounts, and once the Pixel 11 lands, those prices should drop further. The Tensor G5 chip and camera system in the Pixel 10 lineup are still excellent – there's no shame in skipping a generation here.
Will the Pixel 11 be worth the price?
That's the tough question, and honestly, the rumored spec sheet doesn't make it an easy yes.
All Pixel 11 models are expected to retain the same screen sizes as their predecessors, and – somewhat bafflingly – batteries are reportedly getting smaller across the lineup.
The new Tensor G6 chip, built on a 2nm process, should bring real performance improvements, and the base Pixel 11 is said to gain a 50MP main camera. There's also a rumored feature called Pixel Glow, which is generating some buzz – leading speculation is that it's a notification light strip on the back of the device, though details are still thin.
None of that screams "pay more." And the Pixel brand has been dealing with some baggage lately: software bugs, an in-house chip that still can't quite match Snapdragon in raw performance, and a camera reputation that's no longer the automatic crown it once was. The Pixel used to be the a no-brainer recommendation for anyone who wanted great photos without overthinking it. That narrative is harder to sell when the price gap with Samsung and Apple keeps shrinking.
Whether the Pixel 11 earns its premium price will depend heavily on what the Tensor G6 actually delivers in efficiency, and whether features like 'Pixel Glow' are a functional game-changer or just a neat party trick. For now, the smart move is to wait for the August 12 announcement before committing.
