New Galaxy Tab S12 series leak reveals its full specs
Don’t expect big surprises from the new Samsung tablets.

It feels like there is very little about the two Galaxy Tab S12 tablets that we still don’t know. Between the disappointing lack of design updates and the rumors of a horrible price increase, we also got a pleasantly surprising benchmark suggesting a significant performance upgrade.
While we’ve also seen some of the specs of the new tablets, a new leak has revealed every little detail that was yet unknown.
After hearing about the processors and the battery capacity of Samsung’s upcoming premium tablets, it’s now time to see their complete specs. A new leak from Winfuture has revealed (translated source) that the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will have a lot in common, most notably the chip, but also some important differences.
Another intriguing detail is that the report mentions that the S Pen will be included only for the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus. This could be just a missing detail, though.
Another potentially significant difference is that only the Ultra model is said to come with 16GB of RAM, probably on some of the versions with more storage. It's storage is also expected to reach up to 1TB, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Plus may only go to 512GB storage. The smaller tablet may also have a maximum of 12GB of RAM, though it may get the same up to 2TB storage expansion support.

While they were initially expected a bit earlier, the new tablets are now said to launch on October 7. They’ll have One UI 9.0 out of the box, and the colors are expected to be limited to silver and gray.
Considering the disheartening price increases, Samsung will have a very hard time selling its new tablets. They’ll need to face not only the competition from the likes of the 13-inch iPad Pro (2025) and iPad Pro 11 (M5) with their faster chipsets, but also other Galaxy Tab models.
Currently, Samsung is offering the Galaxy Tab S11 with a $200 discount, which is difficult to resist. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is also available with a massive $350 discount, which makes the Tab S12 Ultra’s minor upgrades even harder to swallow.
I wouldn’t blame anyone who criticizes Samsung for bringing too few upgrades to its new tablets, but I don’t think comparing them with the previous generation is fair. Nobody changes their tablet every year, so a small refresh with better performance could be more than enough.
Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra complete specs leak

The displays are also different, with the Plus sporting a 12.6-inch screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1752 pixels, compared to a 14.6-inch panel with 2960 x 1848 pixels on the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
