If you’re on a budget or looking for a second smartphone, Motorola’s deal on its affordable Moto G Power (2026) might tickle your fancy.

While the phone isn’t discounted per se, you can currently snatch it with a free Moto Watch and a free pair of Moto Buds Loop. That saves you around $400. Furthermore, you can trade in an eligible device to slash up to $120 off the phone itself, making this a pretty awesome deal.

The watch is just a basic wearable and is nowhere near what you get with the likes of the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Apple Watch Series 12. But then again, those cost an arm and a leg, and you can never get them for free—maybe only in your dreams. So, for a freebie, I’d say that the Moto Watch is a pretty decent smartwatch that gets the job done.

As for the earbuds, they offer good sound and awesome battery life, delivering up to 8 hours of playback on their own and up to 37 hours with their case. However, these are open-ear, which means you’ll hear what’s going on around you. So, if you want earbuds to use in the office to communicate with others easily, or if you want to hear traffic while walking around the city, these are a good choice. If not, well, you can always sell them on Facebook Marketplace.

Alternatively, if you don’t feel like splurging $399.99 on a new phone and don’t have a device to trade in, Amazon is selling the Moto G Power (2025) in Leaf Green for $100 off, dropping it below $200. While the handset still offers decent value for money, its final OS update is Android 17—the current version—and it will continue to receive security patches until 2028. Your data will be secure for a few more years, but you won’t be getting the latest features once Android 18 comes out.

Both smartphones are on the affordable side, so don’t expect either one to blow you away with incredible performance, stunning visuals, or iPhone 18 Pro-level camera performance. Instead, expect a handset that can handle basic stuff like phone calls, web browsing, and YouTube without issues. As long as you don’t push your Moto G Power too hard and remember to close apps that you no longer use, everything should be smooth sailing.

On the display front, you get a 6.8-inch LCD panel with a 2388 x 1080 resolution on both. While the visuals are pretty decent, the most interesting thing is that the screens support a 120Hz refresh rate, which not only makes everything feel snappier but is also a rare feature on affordable phones.

Since cameras are also important these days, I should note that both phones take decent photos when there’s ample light, but the picture quality is nothing to write home about. So, I bet you’ll reach for your main handset 10 times out of 10 when you want to snap a funny photo of your cat or dog or take a group selfie with your friends.

An area where both the Moto G Power (2026) and its predecessor shine, though, is battery life. The latest model even comes with a 5,200 mAh battery, which is a slight bump compared to the 5,000 mAh cell on the model from 2025. Both should last you up to two days on a single charge, depending on your usage and daily activities.

The bottom line is that neither the Moto G Power (2026) nor the Moto G Power (2025) will wow you by any means, but that’s actually okay. After all, when looking for a budget phone, you aren’t searching for a “wow” effect; you want a smartphone that gets the job done, and these two more than deliver in that regard. So, if either one fits the bill, save while these deals last!
