We recently reported that the second generation of the Bose QuietComfort headphones is on sale for 45% off, allowing shoppers to score top-tier headphones for less than $200. While this is a phenomenal deal that saves you $160, you can actually score even bigger savings if you opt for the OG version of the headphones.

Amazon is currently offering a massive 53% discount on select color options, dropping the price of the first-generation Bose QuietComfort headphones below $170. That nets you a whopping $190 in savings, which is just phenomenal. By the way, this is also their lowest price ever, so now is definitely the best time to treat yourself to these puppies.

Not to mention, you get Bose’s signature sound for way less than usual when snatching a set with this deal. They may not be the Ultra model, but they still offer top-tier audio and high-end ANC that mutes the world. Plus, the Bose app comes with a dedicated EQ, so you can tailor the audio to fit your taste for an even more immersive listening experience.

Meanwhile, they offer up to 24 hours of playback, which, complemented by a comfy fit, lets you enjoy long listening sessions without ear fatigue. That said, they aren’t IP-rated, which means they don’t have an official dust and water resistance rating, so you may want to be careful when using them outdoors or in the gym.

As for what you’re missing out on compared to the second generation, you don’t get features like spatial and lossless audio, or the ability to turn ANC off. So, if you can’t live without these features, act quickly and score the 2nd generation for less than $200. But if you can, don’t waste time and pull the trigger on this deal now while you can snatch the Bose QuietComfort headphones at their record-low price of under $170!
