Samsung has officially posted on the company's Community forum that the development team needs additional time. This time will be spent, apparently, doing "final reviews and quality improvements.

Tipster Tarun Vats reposted on X the whole Samsung Community forum post, saying, "The Beta Manager has officially confirmed that the One UI 9 Beta 5 update is scheduled to be released sometime next week for the Galaxy S26 Series."

Samsung apologized for the delay but stated that the company wants to deliver a stable and polished software experience to all users. The company said the latest beta will arrive next week.

One UI 9 Beta 5 supported devices
Next week the fifth beta build of One UI 9 will start rolling out for all Galaxy S26 devices. These include the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra models.
As for the regional availability, the update is expected for users enrolled in the One UI Beta program in the US, UK, India, Germany, Poland, and South Korea.
