Wi-Fi only model now available for Sony Tablet P; both tablets to get Android 4.0 update
The dual-screen clamshell Sony Tablet P is getting a Wi-Fi only version according to the manufacturer. The model will be available on April 21st for 50,000 JY ($601 USD) after tax, and there is no word on whether we will see this variant of the tablet make it to U.S. soil. Also available the same day will be five personalized color shells for the tablet, which will be priced at 5000 JY ($60 USD) each.

Also around the same time, owners of the Sony Tablet P and the more traditional looking Sony Tablet S will receive the Android 4.0 update. The download will bring a new UI, features that enhance performance, a new home screen, gallery and camera apps. It will also add "Small Apps" which are widget type apps used to do quick tasks like using the calculator or the browser.
