Another player just entered the screenless fitness tracker scene! Luna announced at IFA 2026 that the Luna Band is now shipping worldwide. After the initial invite-only 100,000 units sold out like hot cake, now's the chance to get one of these cool-looking trackers. I know I'll be getting one for sure.

What is Luna Band?

If you've never heard of Luna, that's okay. The company revealed its intentions to enter the fitness tracker market just this year. Luna Band made its official debut at CES in January and later announced a limited Drop 1, invite-only rollout.

Pre-orders started on July 4, with shipments scheduled for July 31. As I mentioned above, the 100,000 units sold out in mere days. But what's so special about this screenless Luna Band?

Luna Band adapts to you

There are many screenless fitness bands on the market, and most of them use similar sensors. The Luna Band is a little different.

Even though the sensors are largely the same, including a heart-rate sensor, a skin temperature sensor, and an SpO2 sensor, Luna Band adapts to you and your body.

The company claims that once you set a goal, the band actively retrains its models to fit your body for that specific objective.

The band can track your sleep, detect abnormal heart rate, estimate your fitness age, etc. The battery lasts up to 10 days and charges in 60 minutes.

What's really cool is that you can use the band without a subscription, something rather rare nowadays, where everything is a subscription service.

Price and availability

You can get the Luna Band at lunazone.com, and the price tag is not crazy either. For $149 you're getting the Luna Band, a charger, and one additional strap. The band is available in three colors—Onyx Black, Desert Beige, and Aloe Green.

You can get the first two immediately, but the Aloe Green variant starts shipping on September 7.

I'm getting a Luna Band

After years and years of testing smartwatches and fitness trackers, I think I need something that doesn't require my attention all the time. Maybe I'm a little burnt out.

I've never tried a screenless fitness tracker, but I remember my years with the hybrid Withings ScanWatch with joy.

Having a gadget that passively tracks your vitals and activities is a cool idea. Stay tuned for a review once I get my hands on a Luna Band.
