The LG Optimus G is coming to Telus on November 13th
On November 13th, the greatest smartphone to ever wear the LG insignia will be available in Canada. That's right, the
LG Optimus G will be taking its quad-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor and the 4.7 inch 768 x 1280 True HD IPS Plus screen over to Canadian territory. On that date, the device will be available via Telus and in case you were wondering (we certainly were) the version of the device coming to the home of hockey, curling and Dave Foley will have the
8MP rear-facing camera similar to the AT&T version. The model that Sprint is getting comes with a 13MP shooter on the back.
We'd love to tell you how Telus plans on pricing this phone. We'd love to, but we can't since the carrier has yet to put it up on its website. In the states, the handset will go for $199.99 with a signed two-year contract. Remember, in Canada the traditional subsidized pricing contract ties you up for three years which is a 50% longer term than in the states.
