Snapchat recently pushed a new update for both its Android and iOS apps. The update brings a single new feature that allows users to create custom Stories and share them with their friends.

To start a new Story, you'll have to tap the “Create Story” icon in the top right corner of the Stories page. The Story can be about anything and can include any of your friends. It can even be about a particular location.

The catch is that your friends can add to the Story whenever they want as long as you give them access to it. You can also decide who can view the Story, or even choose to Geofence it to a location.

Keep in mind though that these custom Stories will disappear if no one has contributed to them in the past 24 hours, so make sure they're regularly updated if you don't want them to be removed.

The new “Custom Stories” feature is available in the latest version of Snapchat (10.9.0.0) on Android and iOS devices, which has already been released on Google Play and App Store.
