Nokia Lumia 625, with 4.7 inch screen, gets certified in China
It was back in May when we first told you about the Nokia Lumia 625 and its 4.7 inch screen, which would have made it the largest screened Windows Phone model. Originally, we expected the device to be part of Nokia's May 14th event, but, alas, it was not to be. On Wednesday, word came out of China that the Nokia Lumia 625 had been certified in China, with the 512MB of RAM we told you was on the phone two months ago. That should give multi-taskers more fits than a talented tailor.

While the rest of the phone's specs weren't disclosed, we can go back to the May story and tell you to expect a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor under the hood along with a 2000mAh battery and LTE connectivity. The Nokia Lumia 625 will also have the GDR2 update pre-installed. That means the phone will come with Data Sense to monitor data usage, FM radio functionality and more.

The Nokia Lumia 625 is expected to launch sometime in the next few weeks in various countries. The phone is said to be priced in the $300 to $350 USD range.

Care to tell me how is this better than nexus 4?

It has windows phone which some people like more than android in nexus 4. People need to stop trying to prove the OS they use is better than others. Just get what you like and enjoy.

Some people? You mean those 4% who buy smartphones. But if you want windows phone, then install a wp launcher. The only reason why people buy wp is that wp phones have pretty good design and build quality, like HTC 8X or lumia 920.

Its because people are closed minded, selfish, and only see things one dimensionally from their own point of view...

In my opinion if Nokia put a gig of ram in 720 it will sell double even with a little price difference.

Why complain! Wp don't need 1gb Ram, cause it's a very light os which requires 150mb Ram to run the os. So Nokiawp8 fans want Android specs now.... lmfao... ®

40. Dastrix unregistered

Sure! Since specs are not proprietary, at least it 150Mb won't lag on WP! How much lag.. ahem.. RAM does your Lagdroid need? 1Tb, so why complain about lag!

You're right.. WP sucks.. Thanks. Once you realize that WP fans are just stupid, and uniformed then you can stop trying to convince us of that... we're not as smart as you are, but what does it make you if you keep telling stupid people the same thing over, and over, and don't get any results? Obviously, we're to stupid to buy a iPhone, or Android device, so why waist your time trying to convince ignorant people to do something they never will do? Is that smart on your part? We get your point... Windows Phone sucks, You don't like it, you would never use it, WP will fail, Nokia will fail, and anybody who buys a WP device is foolish... Well, its simple.. Knowing all of that we still keep choosing WP, so what does that make us? Well, stupid... But, we have the right to be stupid... My point is that you would seem smarter if you argued with smart people, and not stupid people like us... But, you continue to argue over and over about how much you don't like WP to stupid people who do like WP, and that just makes you look, well, stupid.. It makes you look stupid even to iPhone, and Android fans... Isn't it sad that a stupid Windows Phone fan, like myself, can make a much smarter fan, of the much superior Android OS, look stupid?.... Your next comment, I'm sure will prove my point perfectly, so go ahead with your reply... Come on Troll! You got a lot of stupid WP fans waiting to see what else you don't like about WP.....????

Before any Android haters open their mouths, this is a low end device for emerging markets.. And if it did come to the US then, because of its screen size, and low price, it would be very competitive.. Remember, with WP you can do just about anything most 2gb ram phones can do with only 512mb if ram.. With the exception of not being able to play graphic extensive games... Which is why this is a low end device.. Nevertheless, if this device is real then it will give pretty much every other low end device a run for it's money because a lot of people will be attracted to the screen size alone.... I mean, this device can be offered for $49.99 on contract out the gate❕

Only 512 RAM?? I hope it had 1 Gb RAM. But 2000 mAh battery is great addition. I think 4,7 inch screen still has WVGA resolution, but for $300 price range, we cant complain too much.

How many galaxy phones exist nowadays? Perhaps, more than the galaxies in the universe.. Most of people know only about galaxy S and Note. This is the real meaning of REDUNDANT & BORING .

So, are the 920, and 1020 boring devices?.. Tell me what kind of phone you have and I'll tell you how mine makes it look, and technically be the more boring device.. Don't beat around the bush just tell me what kind of device you have!

I'm the same as you to question my comment!.. If you're going to say you don't like something online, in a comment section, then you should be able to back it up.. Otherwise, why would you say it?.. You do realize that PA put a reply button in the comment section for us to use freely right?.. Its simple.. I have a L920 and I find it an extremely good device, so naturally if someone says something that is not true about it then I'm going to defend it.. Is that OK with you?
