Motorola to open six Moto Hub stores today in India; 50 locations planned in high traffic areas

Right now, every Motorola phone available in India can be bought from Amazon India, or from online shopping firm Flipkart. But in order to expand sales to the offline retail market, Motorola has debuted today six Moto Hub retail locations. These stores have shelves full of exclusive Motorola products. The Moto Hub shopping experience will allow consumers to get a hands-on feel for the latest Moto handsets before a purchase is actually made.

Moto products that had been available online only will be able to get tested out in the Hub before getting purchased and taken home. Current phones available at the Moto Hub stores will include the Moto E4 Plus, Moto C Plus, and the Moto Z2 Play. Modular Moto Mod accessories will be available as will regular everyday accessories such as earphones and covers. And speaking of accessories, those purchasing a handset from the Moto C, E and G series at a Moto Hub store will receive certain accessories for free. Buy the new Moto Z2 Play and take half off the price of certain Moto Mod purchases!

Eventually, Motorola hopes to have 50 Moto Hub stores open in high traffic areas near shopping malls. Today, six stores will open in the following locations:

  • Great India Place, Noida
  • Logix Mall, Noida
  • Shipra Mall, Indirapuram
  • Xperia Mall, Dombivali, Mumbai
  • Korum Mall, Thane, Mumbai
  • Viviana Mall, Thane, Mumbai
