Microsoft updates all Office apps for Android with Box integration, more
All three Office apps for Android have just been updated by Microsoft with a handful of new features and improvements. The changelog of all three apps contain one thing in common and that's integration with Box.

This means that users will be able to edit Office files such as a PowerPoint presentation directly from their Box account on PowerPoint.

Improved support for TalkBack is another new feature that has been added to all three Office apps, including enhancements to keyboard and other assistive technologies.

Aside from support for Box, Microsoft also added Egnyte and Weyun integration, which allows users to store and access their files on the move. It's also worth noting that users will now get a notification when there's activity in their shared documents.

The Excel app also received a new Maps chart type that turns geographic data into professional looking maps. Also files that contain ActiveX controls, or web and text queries can now be opened.

The update should also bring some improvements to hyperlinks on Excel, so users will now allow users to set a text for hyperlink instead than showing the full link. The updated apps are already up on Google Play store, so anyone can download them now.
