Friday´s News Bits
  • Google intends to offer targeted advertising. The ad commercials, banners, spots etc. will depend on the operating system of your handset and the carrier you are with, meaning more beneficial campaigns for customers that are, at the same time, less costly for advertisers. • T-Mobile: Sony Ericsson Equinox is now available in Ocean Blue. We like the new color scheme a lot, although we would be thrilled to know what Maria Sharapova, who stars in the advertising campaign, thinks about it. (via CellPhoneSignal)

  • IBM intends to release an application for the iPhone and Android platforms. It will be called Lotus Notes Traveler and allow for reading of emails encrypted with Lotus Notes. The program will roll out for the iPhone first, but its version for Android is to come out shortly after. (via Area Cellphone)

  • New charger for the iPhone. The accessory is coming to Europe soon and happens to be quite more compact than the existing one. (source: The Unofficial Apple Weblog)
