Alleged black HTC One render leaks

Yesterday we were filled in on more details about the upcoming HTC One handset, such as the alleged metal chassis in white/silver and darker color versions, the two stereo speakers at the front, and the price tag, which is said to be the typical $199.99 with a two-year contract for the 16 GB variation.

Today we are getting an actual picture that is claimed to be of the retail device, as the prototype that was bandied about before was in a soft-touch plastic shell.

This here looks like a different pint of beer, with very good screen-to-phone size ratio, and what might be indeed two speaker grills above and below the display.

Moreover, the tiled interface and minimalistic weather widget jibe with previous leaks and rumors about the new HTC Sense 5.0 UI.

It is hard to judge from the render whether the chassis is made of metal or polycarbonate, but Tuesday is not far away, and we are going to get the full scoop at HTC's NYC event for you.
