Ahead of unveiling, the Motorola Moto M appears in China's TMall
Expected to be unveiled later today, the Motorola Moto M was spotted at China's TMall on Tuesday morning. The device was priced at the equivalent of $295 USD. The handset carries a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The MediaTek Helio P15 chipset is under the hood, carrying an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU. 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of native storage.
A 13MP rear-facing camera is on board (with PDAF laser focus) and the 13MP front-facing snapper handles selfies and video chats. Keeping the lights on is a 3050mAh battery, and a quick charge feature rapidly recharges the cell. A fingerprint scanner is found under the rear camera, and the handset is coated by P2i to protect it from splashes and light rain. Android 6.0 is pre-installed.
The phone will be available from TMall at a price equivalent to $295 USD. The Moto M (XT1662) will reportedly come with a trio of Microsoft apps pre-loaded. They include Skype, Office and OneDrive. The device will be launched on November 11th.
