iBattz announced iPhone 5 battery case with removable cells
Psst, looking for an extended battery case to outfit your iPhone 5 with? Well, iBattz has you covered. The company announced the latest additions to its cases portfolio, among which is a shell that can accommodate interchangeable batteries. However, you might be surprised to learn what kind of batteries the accessory actually works with – the same 2,100mAh cell one can find behind the back cover of a Samsung Galaxy S III.

But as long as you don't mind the fact that your iPhone 5 will be powered by something made by Apple's nemesis, you should be good to go. In fact, you will enjoy using your iPhone for more than twice as long since the iBattz battery holds roughly 150% more charge than the smartphone's internal 1,440mAh cell.

There will be two versions of the iBattz iPhone 5 battery case – the lightweight Mojo Fuel priced at $90 and the tougher Mojo Armor priced at $100. The former will be released in February while the latter is scheduled to launch in March of this year.
