Samsung Galaxy S4 mini leaks out in perfect clarity
The Galaxy S4 mini appears in a whole gallery of images showing it alongside its larger sibling, the 5-inch Galaxy S4, and later on alongside a cigarette. The S4 mini comes with that same carbon fiber pattern the larger S4 has on its back.
But Samsung’s definition of “mini” has evolved. Last year’s Galaxy S4 mini arrived with a screen of 4 inches, and this year it’s up to 4.3 inches. Take a look back two years ago and just think about it - 4.3 inches were the maxi, not the mini!
The Galaxy S4 mini is a definite mid-ranger coming with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera. Take a look at it right below.

The design doesn't do well in d mini
Galaxy s4 looks stunning because of d thin bezels
3. Kurai (unregistered)
yep! stunningly ugly! . . . all i like about the s4 is its hardware . . . . the rest is just plain ugly
4. Kurai (unregistered)
and then they released the mini . . . one more ugly design is born to mankind . . but i have to respect that hardware . . .
7. SonyFindOneDroidple (Posts: 479; Member since: 11 May 2013)
You are ugly haha..
Haters will never appreciate the design of galaxy s4,
When i'm watching comparisons, viewing facebook posts of samsung mobile esp d summer themed one etc etc, i always find the galaxy s4 so stunning because of the thin beZels covering the large screen..
As what i have said in my previous comments
Screen on-galaxy s4, XZL and optimus g pro are more stunning than htc one
10. Kurai (unregistered)
aside from the bezels . . . what makes s4 more beautiful than htc one and the XZL? . . . because it has rounded corners and it's made of plastic?
14. SonyFindOneDroidple (Posts: 479; Member since: 11 May 2013)
Dude dont be a hater.
Looking at your comment, you hate galaxy s4 thats why you have included XZL in the downside area where in fact i said that S4, XZL and G Pro are more stunning than htc one ___SCREEN ON___
Ergonomics> another factor of the design! The rounded corners of gs4 and g pro provided the upperhand for d two handsets.
Plastic-gs4, XZL and g pro, as long as the phone is so compact, plastic is not a big deal.. plastic is just a big deal for haters..
Screen off yah htc one is so stunning
Screen on_the galaxy s4 and the other two handsets are so beautiful! The thin bezels and the large screen are the things that you always see in a phone. Just looking at video comparisons, htc one is behind the stunner word, the smaller screen and fat bezels around make the phone bad in my eyes

Have to completely agree with you.
The S4 looks like a boring slab while off..but when you turn that incredible screen on, the phone strikes you with amazing elegance.
My S3 looks so fat and outdated next to it.

I tried the S4 today in a store and it was lagging in the Video app, when you scroll fast through the live video thubnails. I understand that the live preview thumbnails are resource hungry operations, but i expected more from an octa core processor.
The Galaxy S2 is, even now, the best from Samsung (Not including the S2 plus). Other manufacturers simply can't seem to match its overall performance(speed, camera, usability, etc...), even now In the world of Android in its price point.

4.3 in . . . the new definition of mini from samsung
5. lovefist (unregistered)
wish they made the screen 720p, but that'll probably take potential s3 buyers.

Well it looks about the size of the iPhone 5, which is small compared to most Android phones.
I hope in the future they (and other companies) make their flagships in a couple sizes (a 4-4.3" and a 4.7-5" for example), so there are small phones with good specs for those who still prefer smaller phones.

Samsung leave mid range Android phone to Sony cause Sony do it better and your S3 mini already flop.
9. SonyFindOneDroidple (Posts: 479; Member since: 11 May 2013)
In certain markets, India and developing countries, Samsung's mid-range and low-end phones are big hit
20. yudi.nemesis (Posts: 1127; Member since: 14 Mar 2013)
he said about sony mid range better than samsung mid range, not about market sales
23. SonyFindOneDroidple (Posts: 479; Member since: 11 May 2013)
And so, i even gave him a thumb up..
I just said that because of the word flop..
There are different meanings of flop
Flop as not that great as it was expected to be
Or flop as not hitting a signfcant sales number or concert audience
31. yudi.nemesis (Posts: 1127; Member since: 14 Mar 2013)
S3 Mini is a flop with the same price point you can have better phone
and he never said something about sales
just stop your BS ''fake Sony lover''
35. SonyFindOneDroidple (Posts: 479; Member since: 11 May 2013)
Sony Oppo Find Htc One Droid Dna Apple
Cant find a way to use galaxy but i am also a samsung fan
Do i have to explain again the word flop
Better look at comment #26, see im not the one
And i gave a thumb up to trex95 because i agree that sony does better mid and low end smartphones. Deal w/ your stories samsung hater
36. yudi.nemesis (Posts: 1127; Member since: 14 Mar 2013)
it doesn't matter if you gave thumb up to trex95 or not the problem is when he said Sony mid ranger is better you and other samsung fanboys start the ''big hit or sales'' word
Next time before you start saying evil hater or samsung hater. just remember that Samsung and Samsung fanboys are the biggest and the largest evil hater.

Because of the word flop!
Deal with yourself, you cant understand anything..
26. DANTExphone888 (Posts: 97; Member since: 11 Aug 2012)
The S3 mini is not a flop it sells well on us cellular as the galaxy axiom, a better LTE model.
8. Equilibrium (Posts: 18; Member since: 15 Nov 2012)
Isn't that the SGS3 next to the SGS4 mini in the first photo above?
This is based on home button and sensors on top of phone, plus bezel size and overall shape.
13. SPASE (Posts: 96; Member since: 03 May 2013)
yeh your right.
in pictures 1 and 6, the white model is in fact the gs3 and not the gs4.
come on phonearena, use your journalistic skills pleasse.

Maybe they can't tell the difference since all galaxies are now starting to look a like

Some people just can't accept what you have said :P It's true peeps. Get over it.
12. najib1312 (Posts: 102; Member since: 08 May 2013)
Again, y should any1 consider this over the stunning & already affordable Xperia SP?
15. SonyFindOneDroidple (Posts: 479; Member since: 11 May 2013)
Hmm maybe the people who want TW or who knows that Sony Android Skin lags the most..
17. najib1312 (Posts: 102; Member since: 08 May 2013)
No dude, Sony did a fantastic job in optmizing their UI for jellybean. It's one of the cleanest & most elegant UI customization for jelly bean out there.
But I do have to agree that Sony has one of the worst & most laggiest ICS customization. I hated Timescape but now, their new UI called socialife is much better. Plus, they have removed lots of unnecessary bloatwares from the Jelly Bean UI.

Ugly....... Same Old brand new...no thanks.

Ugly as hel!!
24. szeifryl (Posts: 5; Member since: 06 Apr 2013)
If they will release this phone pricier than s3, no one will buy it. S3 now is half the price of s4.
27. xperiaDROID (banned) (Posts: 5629; Member since: 08 Mar 2013)
Not trying to hate, but the design of the S4 mini gives me a headache.
The design looks like the old Galaxy Ace!
29. sennarose88 (Posts: 53; Member since: 18 Jun 2009)
The larger phone is not a S4, but S3. Just look at the home button.
30. selena1000 (Posts: 83; Member since: 14 Mar 2013)
i would rather wait for the new mid/low end iphone instead of that crap......
32. artyhunt (Posts: 4; Member since: 23 Jul 2011)
"The Galaxy S4 mini appears in a whole gallery of images showing it alongside its larger sibling, the 5-inch Galaxy S4"...
Wrong -That's not a picture of it next to the s4, it's definitely next to an s3. You can tell from the bezzle/screen ratio and the location of proximity sensor and front facing camera that it is an s3...
Also - "Last year’s Galaxy S4 mini arrived with a screen of 4 inches"
wrong - i assume you mean last year's Galaxy S3 mini not Galaxy S4 mini.
PROOF READ YOUR ARTICLES VICTOR .H!!!
As for the topic of the article it's self I think anyone who's interested in phones enough to be reading this article and thusly this comment will not be planning on getting any 'Galaxy mini' strain of the galaxy line because it's just not going to be as good as the 'non-mini' version. I don't know why Samsung don't recreate the design of the S2 at least in their 'Galaxy mini' line because it looks a lot better in my opinion and it must be cheaper for them to produce something that has been tried and tested and most importantly very successful.
INTERESTING NOTES - S2 VS S3 MINI:
The cost of the original Galaxy S2 is £250 on amazon, the Galaxy S3 mini is currently £200
nearly all of the specs of the S2 are better than the s3 including battery life, camera quality and processor speed.

Looks/Aesthetics are always subjective. The hell is the matter with you lot saying that the S4 is "ugly". I'm sorry, but no, that's not a valid criteria to objectively judge a smartphone, and geez, it's not "ugly" by any stretch of the imagination. Sure it might not fit your taste, but like I said, taste is subjective. I find the HTC One's front ugly compared to the S4, and vice versa with the S4's back. None of them are "ugly" tho. Get real.
39. Rexperia (Posts: 100; Member since: 28 Sep 2012)
Seriously! Samsung really need to hire some designer to touch up their smartphone design, i admited that it has a good spec's but for some people they don't really care about spec's, people will see the phone or device from the outside first and it'll be the first impression as well and mostly they don't understand what's inside, they think that they can use it properly for daily life unless to those who geek's minded!
40. PorkyBurger (Posts: 247; Member since: 18 May 2013)
I don't get it, why do you think phone is ugly? Because of the overused design? Well, that's dumb. Okay, I understand you, you want fresh design and something more out of Samsung, but actually, for me, design is all fine, and I don't want Samsung to change it. It feels ergonomic and nice to hold. I don't want to have a square shaped phone, which I find not attractive and not so ergonomic. But I agree with materials. For such a great phone, plastic is just idiotic. But now, you can change nothing. If the S4 and S4 Mini is plastic, then it will be forever.
