New Windows Phone 7 handsets are possibly being unveiled at HTC's event as well?

In fact, it’s becoming increasingly obvious since fall signals the release of Mango to the masses – and what better way to flaunt it with brand spanking new devices? Taking a peek over at the Windows Phone UK Facebook page, their post regarding the September 1st London event significantly indicates that Windows Phone 7’s presence will be there. As much as we’re delighted about possibly seeing them, we’re still hesitant about it unless some kind of confirmation manages to surface between now and then.
Considering that we’re nearly over a week away before the event is scheduled to occur, it’ll be interesting to see what kind of news comes up regarding it between now and then.

Wow a dual-core 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 megapixel camera & a qHD display all wrapped up in Windows Phone 7 Mango would be a sick phone ESPECIALLY if it's from HTC! I am really excited to see what Windows has in store with their new phones. We all keep hearing about the Nokia Sea Ray, but HTC makes VERY good handsets. I need to keep a close watch on WP7 handsets, especially from HTC, Samsung & Nokia. All three will be sweet beastly phones! Windows is going to have a big 2012. I really truly feel that way!

Hey remixfa have you overclocked your phone & how stable was it. I would like to know because I have an Epic 4G I am thinking of overclocking. I know you have a Galaxy S 4G so I am just asking. I really am concerned on how stable it is! I know that with the Hummingbird good things can be with it!

ive had it overclocked to 1.5ghz. At that speed it gets a little warm. :) kernels arent exactly the same between your phone and mine but the highest its run stable over long term was 1.4ghz.

That was my vibrant taken on the Destroyer of Worlds kernel at 1.5ghz
Ive seen them clocked up to 1.6 or 1.8... i cant remember which. But even at 1.2ghz it maxes the framerates on the Quadrant tests with the right ROM.. lol

Nice man I am going to give it a shot. I gave my wife the Epic 4G. She loves it, so I want to make it better. She probably won't care for it but it's more me how wants to see what the Epic 4G can do. lol Thank you for your expertise!

no problem.
the biggest thing is just getting on a ROM that changes it from crappy RFS filesytem to EXT4. On the vibrant its called "voodoo enabled", i would assume its the same.
That alone will double your performance and battery life without any overclocking needed. I only over OC my phone when i feel like doing bench marks. A good ROM doesnt need o/c.

Can we get some Verizon LTE WP7 handsets from HTC and Samsung also with all the high end specs?

Hey don't worry, it will happen. From what I read the Mango update is bada$s & supports 4G. You will most definitely be hooked up!

One hopes SuperAndroid. Sprint and Verizon will be up for our money when our contract is up from AT&T in November. I NEED some good, high end Mango selections on CDMA. Love the W7 devices, but will find it hard to settle for lesser devices for a two year commitment.

We got WP7 4g stickers for our store last month. It has got to be dropping very quickly. Maybe an "HD8" or something lol.

I keep reading that there will be 4G Mango WP7 phones out there. I think Sprint is going to drop one of those. snowgator, just wait WP7 is going to make a huge splash when Mango finally gets released. The phones will be announced in a couple of weeks. I know it must suck to wait but I think it will be worth it!

Right now I got my eyes set on that WP7 phone from Fujitsu. Unfortunately, its only available to the Japanese market so I really hope HTC one ups them though a 13.2 waterproof CMOS camera will be a tough challenge
