Leaked screenshot indicates an August 4 launch date for the Motorola DROID BIONIC
Share:
Already, we’ve seen a Motorola device pop up over at the FCC that closely resembles the DROID BIONIC with its EV-DO and LTE 700MHz radio. However, a new leaked screenshot indicates that the highly anticipated handset is going to be making a splash on August 4, which so happens to fall in line with its reported Q3 launch time frame. Naturally, we’ve heard about its redesigns both on the software and hardware side – so it’s going to be interesting to see how the final product pans out.
Of course, without a definitive confirmation from either Motorola or Verizon, this alleged launch date can always change – but at least we can hope and cross our fingers for now.

I agree. Its better than the Bionic and it needs to hit Verizon ASAP, especially since hearing that when it lands in the USA it will be 4G.

I'm giving Verizon until the end of the year to release the Galaxy S2. If they don't I maybe going to AT&T. So if Verizon think that they can keep screwing me around like this they have another thing coming.
It's like waving a steak in front of a hungry lion and deciding not to feed him, but when he escapes and eats someone he's the blame. If I'm not fed soon I'm going to devour an IPhone!

Don't do it! AT&T is terrible. Can't wait to get away from them.

DUde the iphone blows, a great example to give you.. Lets say your iphone does begin to freeze(which it will at sometime) you have to drive to or call the nearest apple store to fix it.. however on an Android device can be fixed within 5 minutes.. so pretty much iphone is too prissy and overrated.. sry man ive had both

This is soooo retarded, I am beyond sick of this phone. Whats so special about it again???
9. Sniggly posted on 04 Jul 2011, 16:14 12 1
Oh, nothing special. I mean, it's only going to be the first phone on Verizon with a dual core processor AND a 4G radio, as well as being the first Verizon phone with a gig of ram, as well as having Gingerbread and being upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich. But you're right. Nothing special about it at all.

Wow. Thats nothing.
T-Mobile has the Sensation, which has a 1.2 gHZ dual processor instead of 1 gHZ, and also has HTC Sense 3.0 instead of that blur crap.
Sprint has all of that AND 3D, with its EVO3D.

WOW!! 3D oh man that's amazing I can watch a video for 10 minutes before I mess up my eyesite..How's T-Mobile's coverage map BTW?
I'll give it to you that Sense 3.0 is pretty nice but we have yet to see exactly what Blur is going to be like on this device. Beside that fact, if it's anything like GingerBlur it'll be pretty phenominal.

You obviously know nothing about new Blur.

The Sensation and EVO 3D might be nice....but I dont think compared to the Bionic, the Bionic's nothing.
Seeing as how one carrier asked for Sense to be removed so some Android phone could get updated to GB, Sense has its cons just like all the custom UI's.

Actually Since the release of the Atrix 4G i dont think we can trust Motorola Dual core phones, but then again this one is running the New Light motorola UI and Verizons Premature LTE that's actually looking promising.

the Atrix and all other high-end Motorola Android phones will run "Motorola's Application Platform" in the future.

oh look a Sprint fan boy that fell through the cracks of the 'EVO 3D is bad" points i made. i'm tired of shutting you guys down so i'll just sum it up for ya. the specs of the dual-core HTC offerings look good in print but they're really not all they're conked out to be, there's proof all over the place and 3D is too tedious and too gimmicky to put a phone in a position to where it's better because it has "3D" and i even have some play time with the EVO 3D now to back it up. i might give the Thrill another chance with it's 3D because i've heard it's more refined than that on the EVO 3D but i'm definitely NOT impressed so far from what i've seen.

I have been looking all over but I can't find any reference to anything but 512MB of memory. I can't find any reference to the display used so hopefully it isn't Pentile, but it sounds like it isn't from the hands-on article.
