HTC Mondrian with Windows Phone 7 gets a hint of credibility
There was no shortage of rumors surrounding an eventual Windows Phone 7 device from HTC by the end of this year - CEO Peter Chou also confirmed they will have at least one. Recently, however, besides the initial rumor about an HTC Mondrian, we have had an HTC Mozart, Scorpion and Gold pop up as possible WP7 handsets from the manufacturer.

Whatever the other version's monikers, the HTC Mondrian and HTC Mozart appeared with those very titles on an HTC website, with only their screen resolution details. The handsets will eventually have 480x800 WVGA displays, and the previous whispers about them claimed they will have the next generation of the Snapdragon chipset, which happens to have either dual-core 1.3 or 1.5GHz processors under the codename Scorpion (there you have it).

Things are shaping up for the Windows Phone 7 launch and it looks like it will have at least two groundbreaking HTC handsets to show some muscles on.
