Full HD 1080p video samples with the HTC Sensation start to emerge
It allows the HTC Sensation to record Full HD video with 30fps, something that only the Samsung Galaxy S II can do so far, if we don't count the 3D-enabled handsets.
On one of the videos. the HTC Sensation is compared to a Full HD sample taken with the LG Optimus 2X after the firmware update that patched the white balance and exposure compensation while shooting video:
On the other, the various features of the camera software while shooting video were demonstrated, such as autofocus, live zoom, and touch-to-focus:
The videos look great, the contrast is pretty bumped up to make them appealing for the mass user, and, above all, they run smooth, despite the units still being prototype. We can't wait to get our hands on a final version, and compare the Full HD capabilities. After all, that's the main gain from having a dual-core chipset for now, until multicore-friendly apps start to appear in mass quantities.

The audio will get fixed. The phone is still a prototype. But the footage looks great to me. HTC seems to be correcting their camera issues. The HTC Evo 3D should be on par with this plus it can to 3D images & video. I can't wait. I want the HTC Evo 3D so bad. :-) lol

you and me both superandroidevo! I was happy to see how smooth and responsive the video is with minimal rolling shutter and noise. This video quality is 10x better than our Evos (which pretty much suck lol). My girlfriend has the inspire and her video is waaaaay smoother thanks to the adreno 205 gpu and snapdragon 8x55 cpu.

Really that is good to know. I am so happy that the Adreno 205 GPU & the Snapdragon 8x55 CPU make a significant difference. I just can't wait for the HTC Evo 3D. I feel like a school child on the last day of school! I can't wait until June comes! lol HTC Evo 3D on a 4G network has me stoked! Hey AndroidTroll have you seen on a site somewhere about a possible release day for the HTC Evo 3D? I keep reading about a June release like the original HTC Evo 4G.

Yeah tell me about it. I feel like Cartman in the South Park episode where he is so excited for the Wii to come out that he travels forward in time lololol.
No man, I haven't read anything about the launch date for Evo 3D. I am sure it will be big news when it finally leaks tho! Yeah I hope it's in June because then I will be eligible for upgrade thanks to Sprint Premiere program (yearly upgrade) ftw!!!

Really? The iPhone 4's camera is such garbage that I hope the iPhone 5 will be better than that weak camera the iPhone 4 has. All HTC cameras right now are better than the crap the iPhone 4 offers. At least we can see how much better the camera is on the HTC Sensation than that weak camera iPhone 4 has. iSheep just jumping around saying some nonsense! lol :-)

fiction - LMAO! You are so delusional. If you pulled your head out of Steve Jobs's ass for one second you might be able to see the light.

is it just me or were the names of the phones mixed up in the first video? the left said Optimus 2X and the right said HTC Sensation. But the one on the right was obviously the Optimus, it had the metal strip down the back.
anywho, can't wait for the sensation :]

Nope, they're not mixed up. The names at the bottom of the screen tell you which phone the video on that side was recorded with. The video on the right side was recorded with the Sensation. I guess what confuses you is that he tilts both phones so they film each other filming. This is not a mirror :) The Sensation will obviously then show the Optimus and the other way round.
