After releasing multiple iOS updates, Apple has several more in the pipeline
From iOS 26.5.2 to iOS 27 developer beta 2, Apple is working on several iOS updates.
Apple is reportedly putting together an update to iOS 26.5.2. 9to5Mac and MacRumors have discovered signs that the next point update is in the works. Both say that their visitor logs show that Apple is internally testing the aforementioned next build of iOS 26. Such updates are usually bug fixes, security enhancements, or performance improvements.
Apple should soon release iOS 26.5.2
Last week, the first signs of the iOS 26.5.2 update showed up. Remember, Apple released iOS 26.5.1 on June 1. That update patched a charging bug that affected the iPhone Air and the iPhone 17 series. The bug prevented these models from initiating the charging process when the battery was nearly drained.
The previous month, Apple released iOS 26.5. That update finally added end-to-end encryption to RCS and a new Suggested Places feature was added to Apple Maps. Apple also rolled out the iOS 26.6 developer beta 2 yesterday.
Stable iOS 27 is due out in September
Apple will probably have to slow down its iOS 26 stable releases since we are in June, and the stable version of iOS 27 won't be launched until September. We've already seen Apple drop iOS 27 developer beta 1 on June 8, which included Siri AI. As we said back on that day, iPhone users who have used nothing but Siri since 2011 will undoubtedly be thrilled by the suddenly brilliant and capable Siri AI.

We could see Apple release iOS 27 developer beta 2 soon and iOS 27 public beta 1 next month. I'm going to let you in on a little secret. You don't need to wait until July to install the iOS 27 Public beta. That's because you don't need to be a developer to download the iOS 27 developer beta right now.
You can download the iOS 27 developer beta 1 with Siri AI right now
Apple used to charge a $99 fee to be listed as a developer, allowing you to install the developer beta. Now, it charges $99 to be a developer if you are publishing apps in the App Store. The only reason why there is a delay between the release of the developer beta and the public beta is to give Apple the time to fix bugs found in the developer beta so that the public won't have to experience them.
I am not a developer, but since Apple stopped charging to install the developer beta, I have installed this version of beta releases on my iPhone exclusively. If you feel as though you can handle the typical bugs that are inherent in beta releases, you can install iOS 27 developer beta 1 and check out Siri AI. Make sure you go to the Apple Beta Software Program and subscribe to the iOS 27 beta releases.
