Samsung releases first three Galaxy S26 Ultra trailers promoting its big new feature
All three leaked trailers focus on the hot new privacy feature for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
If you've been waiting for the unveiling of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, you'll be happy to see the first few trailers released by Samsung for its top-of-the-line 2026 flagship model. While AI certainly does get some mention, Sammy puts the pedal to the metal when discussing the big new feature for 2026, the Privacy Screen. Thanks to the Flex Magic Pixel OLED display that will be deployed on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, what is displayed on the screen cannot be viewed from a side angle.
The Privacy Screen is this year's hot new feature for the Galaxy S26 Ultra
This prevents bystanders from spying on your phone's screen to learn how you unlock the device or open certain sensitive personal apps such as the ones hosting your financial accounts. Some cybercriminals stare at your phone's display hoping to see the credentials you use (including usernames and passwords) to log into these accounts. Protecting your personal information from getting ripped off by a stranger riding the same elevator as you, traveling on the same bus as you, or attending the same event as you.
There are three teasers leaked by well-known and reliable leaker @IceUniverse. All three use animation to show how content on the Galaxy S26 Ultra's screen seems to disappear from view when eyeballed from a certain angle. As we pointed out, AI is also mentioned and the word smartphone is circled around the letters "s-m-a-r-t" followed by the phrase "AI Phone," and a question posed by Samsung, "Can your phone do that?"

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will supposedly be introduced on February 25th during the Samsung's next Unpacked event. That date was leaked by Hall of Fame leaker Evan Blass, which makes it as close to a sure thing as possible. The actual release date could be sometime in the first or second week of March. The top-of-the-line 2026 Galaxy flagship model is expected to include a 6.9-inch OLED display with a QHD+ 1440 x 3120 resolution. Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 application processor (AP) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB to 1,024GB of native storage.
Will this be the seventh consecutive year that Samsung used a 5,000 mAh battery for its top-of-the-line flagship?
On the back you should find a 200MP primary camera using a Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor, a 50MP Ultra-wide camera featuring the Samsung JN3 sensor, a 12MP telephoto camera with 3.0x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with a 5.0x optical zoom. The front-facing camera weighs in at 12MP. The battery capacity is rumored to stay at 5000mAh. If that happens, it will be the seventh consecutive year that Samsung has used a 5,000mAh cell for its top-of-the-line flagship phone. The wired charging speed could be hiked to 60W from 45W. The rumor mill seems to be going back and forth on this; last year's wired charging speed was 45W.
Is the Privacy Screen your main reason for buying the Galaxy S26 Ultra this year?
The Galaxy S26 Ultra could keep the same $1,299 entry price (for the 256GB model) as last year's Galaxy S25 Ultra. The 512GB variant of the Galaxy S26 Ultra might cost you $1,419. The 1TB version of the Galaxy S26 Ultra might carry a price tag of $1,659.
It will be interesting to see whether the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra becomes a stronger AI challenger to Google's Pixel 10 Pro XL. The latter might be known as the smartest smartphone although the Galaxy S26 Ultra will certainly challenge for that title.
