Google's Pixel 11 Pro Fold is a brilliant iPhone Duo alternative at a new record high discount

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is probably the number one alternative you should consider, especially at its hefty new discount, but despite getting very little attention since its commercial debut around two and a half months ago, I believe the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is not to be ignored either.
Yes, Google's latest foldable is annoyingly similar to last year's Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and no, its $1,899 starting price is not affordable by any standard, but at a $250 discount, the Tensor G6 powerhouse promises to deliver decent (at the very least) bang for your buck.
This is a totally unprecedented Amazon sale, mind you, that the e-commerce giant didn't run during its Prime Big Deal Days event last month, and although it's obviously premature to know for sure, I expect the $250 Pixel 11 Pro Fold price cut to go unbeaten throughout the holiday shopping season.
In other words, I strongly feel like we're looking at a legitimate Black Friday 2026 deal here kicked off a few weeks early and likely to be offered on and off for the next couple of months or so on the entire Pixel 11 Pro Fold lineup, starting with a 256GB storage variant normally priced at $1,899 and ending with a 1TB configuration that typically costs $2,249.

Because its primary screen measures a whopping 8 inches in diagonal while sporting a resolution of 2152 x 2076 pixels for a resulting aspect ratio of roughly 1:1 and its secondary panel stands at 6.5 inches with a pixel count of 2342 x 1080 in tow, this is clearly more of a direct rival to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra than the passport-style Z Fold 8 and iPhone Duo.
But if you want to buy one of the best foldable phones out there at the lowest possible price before Christmas, you're likely to pay little attention to such aspect ratio and form factor details and focus more on the apparent durability of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, as well as all that screen real estate, the excellent camera performance, stellar battery life, and respectable (at the very least) raw power you'll get from this brand-new book-style flagship.
