Some would say that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is the best Android-powered book-like foldable phone on the market. For me, it is indeed the best, but its price… man, I really wish it were more affordable. Starting at $2,099.99, it makes me and my bank account weep heavy tears just by looking at that sticker. Fortunately, Samsung is currently softening that blow with a sweet discount.

The official store lets you score $200 in instant savings on this beast. You simply need to select that you don’t have a device to trade in to see the discount. However, if you happen to have an old phone lying around somewhere, you can save up to $800 instead by trading it in with Samsung.

Samsung is offering a lovely $200 discount on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, allowing you to score one for $1,899.99 without any trade-ins. Just select "No" in the trade-in section of the listing. However, if you do have an old phone to trade in, you can save up to $800. Don't miss out!

Is the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra wildly expensive even with Samsung’s current deals? Sadly, yeah. But that’s also completely normal given that you actually get a phone that can double as a small tablet. With its 6.5-inch AMOLED cover display and 8.9mm thickness, it feels and works just like an ordinary phone.

You can browse the web, check out your socials, make phone calls, and stuff like that directly from the cover screen without unfolding the phone. But the moment you need to multitask or just want to watch something on a larger display, you unfold the device and get greeted by a stunning 8.0-inch inner AMOLED display with a 2504 x 2256 resolution.

It has the necessary firepower for heavy multitasking, too, boasting an uber-premium Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 silicon and up to 16GB of RAM depending on the storage configuration. That allows it to tackle absolutely anything you throw its way without a hitch. It also gives you headroom for years to come, making it a great choice if you tend to hold onto your devices until the end of support, which in this case is seven years—a really long time in the smartphone world.

Add to that a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide unit, and a 10MP telephoto lens that enable the phone to take exceptional photos and record videos in 8K, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra turns out to be a device that delivers on all fronts. So, don’t waste any more time—if it fits the bill, get one for up to $800 off at Samsung today!
