Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is Samsung’s best foldable yet — get one for up to $1,000 off with trade-in
It's a great long-term investment and can even double as a mini tablet when you need it to.

While the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is indeed the absolute best foldable phone Samsung currently has to offer, its price tag is… well… let’s just say that your bank account will scream in excruciating pain and never speak to you again—if it could speak. After all, with a starting price of about $2,100, it's definitely a tough pill to swallow—it pains me to even look at how much it costs.
On the bright side, Samsung lets you soften the blow with a generous trade-in deal. By trading in an eligible device, you can slash up to $1,000 off this bad boy and snag one for as low as $1,099.99. I agree it’s still far from affordable, but you can’t argue that it’s a way, way more tempting price compared to the usual cost.
Alternatively, you can choose to get the phone without trading in a device—which is something I don’t recommend doing unless you hate your savings and are looking to get rid of them as fast as possible—and score $200 in Samsung credit.
The thing I like the most about the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is that it's as thin as its predecessor when folded. That means it feels like a normal phone with a stunning 6.5-inch AMOLED display that you can use to quickly reply to messages or browse your Insta on the fly.
When you need a bigger canvas to multitask between two apps, though, you just unfold your $2K+ phone—which you didn’t pay that much for cuz of this deal, wink wink—and start getting productive work done on the impressive 8.0-inch AMOLED screen, featuring an even crisper-than-the-previous-model 2504 x 2256 resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate.
That high-end hardware, coupled with Sammy’s promised seven years of software support, gives you a handset that not only tackles every task with ease and gets all the latest Android features for years to come but also works without hiccups for a truly long time. And that alone makes it a great buy, as this turns it into a solid long-term investment that can be your daily phone—and a compact tablet when you need it to be.
But wait, there’s more! On top of the insane firepower and stunning displays, Samsung’s top-of-the-line foldable comes with a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide snapper, and 10MP telephoto lens. The smartphone takes beautiful photos and, of course, can record videos in 8K resolution, so you’re covered on both fronts as far as camera performance is concerned.
