Like it or not, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon will very likely have some exceptionally strong competition soon in the form of Starlink Mobile by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. While many continue to doubt how viable Starlink Mobile is, American consumers are already willing to switch over if Musk can promise better prices, more robust coverage, and less fine print on their monthly bills.
Customers are ready to switch to Starlink Mobile
T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon seem to have done the marketing for Starlink Mobile themselves. Executives at the Big Three can point out flaws in the budding carrier’s plan all they want, the truth is that Starlink Mobile is hitting milestones and has no plans for slowing down any time soon.
In a poll, we asked you which carrier you would choose if Starlink Mobile became as good as the Big Three. Over three quarters of voters chose Starlink Mobile because, as many often lament, it’s about time we had a new major carrier in the industry.
T-Mobile leaves AT&T and Verizon fighting for last place

Perhaps unsurprisingly, T-Mobile came second with almost nine percent of the votes. As seen recently, customers are guilty of preferring the un-carrier even if T-Mobile doesn’t actually hold an advantage over its rivals in a particular aspect.

Close to eight percent of you, meanwhile, said that you would choose another service, likely an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). AT&T got less than five percent of the votes and Verizon trailed in last place with less than four percent of the votes.
What about you? Which would you prefer should Starlink Mobile shake up the wireless industry tomorrow?

I foresee great potential in SpaceX’s plans
As I’ve argued prior, I think that Starlink Mobile has the potential to completely upend the industry. If Musk is able to deliver on what he has in mind for Starlink Mobile, then the newcomer carrier will force the Big Three to rethink their entire game plan.
Yes, there is a possibility that Starlink Mobile goes nowhere. I don’t think so, though. In my opinion, Starlink Mobile will succeed and many of you will be more than happy to make the switch.
