As the summer Galaxy Unpacked event gets closer, the flurry of rumors about the devices Samsung is expected to launch starts to feel unstoppable. The latest leak may not reveal previously unheard specs, but it is heavy on visuals of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8, showing some of their online special colors. We also get a glimpse at the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
A new set of what appear to be the official press renders for Samsung’s upcoming devices has revealed everything the company is likely to launch at its event in London next week. Shared by Android Headlines, the most intriguing images show the Fold 8 Ultra and Fold 8 next to each other, giving a good idea about the differences in their size and shape.
Another image shows the two book-style foldables along with the Galaxy Z Flip 8, emphasizing the size differences between the three. There are also images of the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 with the two book-style foldables.
Over the last few years, Samsung has been offering some colors of its devices that were exclusively available in its online store. We’ve already seen the official Cream, Graphite, and Lavender colors that will be available for all retailers when the new foldables go on sale.
The new leak also gives us a peek at some of the online exclusives. For the wide Galaxy Z Fold 8, the color may be called Pistachio, which looks like a light gray with some tint on the images.
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is also getting an online-exclusive color, which is expected to be called Mint. As its name suggests, that’s a light green shade, which looks quite fresh, even in the renders.
While these look nice, users on Reddit seem to expect something else from Samsung. Several users said they’d like to get a red or a maroon version, with one comment expressing hope that it could be among the online exclusive colors for the phones.
There are also a couple of images of the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 in this leak. They don’t reveal anything particularly new, as we’ve already seen both devices in great detail.
Besides the colors and unsurprising specifications improvements, Samsung is also expected to introduce several very nice upgrades. One of those could bring the same anti-reflective coating used on the Galaxy S26 Ultra to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
Another set of upgrades could affect the wireless charging of both Galaxy Z Fold 8 models and bump it to 20W, instead of the 15W offered since the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The two models are also rumored to get a boost in the battery capacity, with the wide Galaxy Z Fold 8 rocking a 4,800 mAh battery. The tall Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could get a 5,000 mAh cell, which would be a whole 600 mAh larger than its predecessor.
While the phones’ leaked colors certainly look fresh, I feel they’re too much on the safe side. None of the versions we’ve seen so far offers anything even remotely close to the bold, bright, and attention-grabbing shade of the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro. I don’t think an orange Galaxy Z Fold 8 would be a good-looking phone, but neither will a washed-out green or purple, making me hope that we haven’t seen everything Samsung has in store for us.
