Deal: Sony Xperia XZs is already $79 cheaper at Amazon

Officially released in the US last month, the Sony Xperia XZs is a pretty expensive unlocked smartphone, normally costing $699. Fortunately, the handset can already be purchased at a lower price if you're getting it from Amazon.

Right now, Amazon is selling the Xperia XZs in black for $619.90 - that's $79 off. You can also get the blue and silver versions of the smartphone, but these aren't much cheaper than at launch, currently costing $683.90 and $684.90, respectively. All three models are available via Amazon Prime, and come with US warranty.

Being a GSM/LTE handset, the Sony Xperia XZs does not work on CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint, so it can only be used on carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.

Highlight features of the new Sony phone include a 19 MP rear camera with 960fps video, 64 GB of expandable internal memory, a water-resistant body, and Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. If you want to find out more about the handset, go ahead and check out our Xperia XZs review.

Each market is handled differently. Just because you can buy a Galaxy for 700$ in America after all the discounts and goods doesn't mean people aren't interested in it...think worldly man. I'm sure people in Europe still pay retail for it.

Not everyone gets flattered by acres of bezels... Some do... But they are few and far between... G'Day!

I am one of the few... and I really dislike the curved edge displays that distort, causes glare and distract from focusing in the content. Anyway... I see this as half-full glass because I tend to buy more devices than what I sell... so discounts are good for me. BTW don't you ever has anything positive to say?

The iPhone has had the same amount of bezels iteration after another but has millions of buyers world wide. Xperia has had that same design since the start...but somehow it's a problem with many...hmm, wait trolls/people...weird observation.

Double standards definitely exist in favor for Apple. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a thing we can do to correct that. Too bad for Android OEMS and Sony. We just have to deal. it's an isheep media world.
