Deal: Get a free Samsung TV when you purchase a Galaxy S7 from Best Buy

In case you're not waiting for the Galaxy S8 and you want to purchase a high-end Samsung smartphone right now, Best Buy has a deal for you. If you're buying a new Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge handset, you're entitled to receive a free 32-inch Samsung 720p LED Smart HDTV.

The offer only includes carrier versions of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. More exactly, the phone that you're buying needs to be activated on Verizon Device Payment, AT&T Next, or Sprint 24-Month Installment. T-Mobile customers are excluded from this deal, since Best Buy does not sell T-Mobile phones. Full details are available at Best Buy's website (see the source link below), or in Best Buy stores.

A 32-inch Samsung 720p LED Smart HDTV may not be the most exciting gift ever, but it's still a $199.99 product that you're getting at no extra cost - pretty nice if you were going to purchase a Galaxy S7 anyway. Best Buy does not say how long this offer will last, so you may want to hurry up if you intend to take advantage of it.

720p is plenty for many, many, many things. secondary tv? kid tv? spare if someone is using main? extra screen for browsing while gaming?

You can. When I bought my note 5 (on day 1 of launch) I got a $45 gift card, a $200 gift card and a wireless charger. That was much better deal than this. Though the tv might be worth $200 in MRP you can get similar or same one for cheaper ($160 on amazon). This one is, one year after the phone came out. You can get an unlocked phone for a cheaper price than you will get it from the carrier and save on activation fee crap.

In the uk the deals you can get with the s7 and s7 edge are unreal. The freebies they are thrown in are brilliant. A great time to buy if your after a new phone.

Yup, it is for clearing out older stock, since in many places it is less of a loss to sell at a loss, compared to recycling it. So a win-win if you ask me.
