Paradox previously confirmed Prison Architect: Mobile will be launched on Android and iOS devices sometime this spring. True to its promise, the Swedish publisher announced the game will be available for download on App Store and Google Play on May 25.

There's a catch though, as Prison Architect: Mobile is exclusively available for tablets and will not work on any smartphones. Another downside could be the fact that in order to play the single-player campaign, you will have to pay for each additional chapter.

As the name suggests, Prison Architect: Mobile puts players' management skills to the test in what appears to be a prison simulation game. Build and manage prisons that accommodate a wide range of prisoners, while juggling inmate needs with security concerns, infrastructure, and a small budget.

Prison Architect: Mobile is free to play, as players are given enough necessities (cells, canteens, guard rooms, and infrastructure) to get them started, but any premium content like story-driven campaign chapters cost money. On the bright side, you can unlock everything in the game for no more than $15.

The game is already up on Google Play in just about every country, but the iOS version seems to be available only in the Netherlands for the moment.
