OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro update adds more camera improvements, optimizations
OnePlus' most recent flagship killers, the 7T and 7T Pro are getting a small update that brings some camera improvements and many optimizations for different aspects of the phones.

Anyway, if you're running the OnePlus 7T or 7T Pro as your daily driver, here are all the new features and improvements that you'll get in the upcoming update:

System
  • Optimized translation accuracy
  • Optimized overall communication (network, phone calls, mobile data) performance
  • General bug fixes and improvements
  • Added Cloud Service for Gallery (India only)

Camera
  • Optimized quality of the front camera for better pictures at night

The roll-out of these changes began earlier today, but it will only reach a small percentage of users by the end of the day. A broader rollout will kick off in a few days.

OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro, along with the new Pixel 4, are among the few smartphones that ship with Android 10 on board. Those who own older OnePlus smartphones should rest easy though, as the Chinese company seems to be very interested in bringing major Android OS updates to its customers as fast as possible.

In that regard, the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro are already getting Android 10 in many countries, while the OnePlus 6 and 6T have just received the first Android 10 beta build. Moreover, OnePlus confirmed that the much older 5 and 5T smartphones will be updated to Android 10 as well.

That camera update is much needed. The OnePlus weakest link is the camera and any update that improves it is much welcome.

Just install the Pixel camera software. It's supposed to make the camera way better then OnePlus ever could.

I think goes to show you how good Google is at optimizing hardware and software when it comes to their fantastic pixel cameras.

This is great. OnePlus has already produced a really good camera with the 7Pro, and them optimizing it’s camera software on the latest OnePlus smartphones is always a plus. I have said this before and I will keep saying it, OnePlus is just a few optimizations away from producing a camera that can compete head to head with the likes of Huawei, Samsung and Apple. They already have the performance down to a science. The best flagship smartphones currently on the market are from the likes of Huawei, OnePlus, Samsung and Apple, IMO.

Yea, they needed more optimize that camera more because is suck! I check the phone at tmobile store from the day it release and test the camera and I do not see good thing about it but low quality picture when u press that button :( i love the speed but i love the camera features too! For $600+tax i rather get chinese brand ( like xiaomi, or huawei ) if this will be all op7T cam can do.

OnePlus is a Chinese brand. The Chinese brands have been making some of the most innovative and feature rich smartphones, with Huawei making the most innovative out of them all.
