Netherlands retailer bundles $99 Display Dock with Microsoft Lumia 950 XL pre-orders

Those hankering for the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL in the Netherlands, are being given a sweet deal from online retailer Belsimpel.nl. Pre-order the new Microsoft phablet between today and November 29th from the retailer, and receive a free Display Dock. Valued at $99, the accessory connects the Lumia 950 XL (and the Lumia 950) to a keyboard, mouse and large monitor. This essentially turns the handset into a PC using the Continuum feature. The Display Dock comes with three USB ports, an HDMI port and a DisplayPort.

The Lumia 950 XL can be pre-ordered at a price equivalent to $794 USD from Belsimplel.nl. The handset features a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, carrying a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. That works out to a 515ppi pixel density. A Snapdragon 810 chipset is under the hood, bringing an octa-core 2.0GHz CPU and the Adreno 430 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside, along with 32GB of expandable storage. A 20MP camera, with OIS, is on back with an aperture of f/1.9, and a tricolor LED flash. The front-facing selfie snapper weighs in at 5MP. A 3340mAh battery keeps the generator humming, and a Type-C USB port is on board. Windows 10 Mobile is pre-installed.

The online retailer is also accepting pre-orders for the Microsoft Lumia 950. The price to reserve the 5.2-inch handset works out to the equivalent of $680 USD.
