More information about the Samsung Galaxy A7 surfaces
A few days ago, we told you about the handset that is known as the Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A700). It is the high-end version of the "Galaxy A" series, which includes the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A5. The trio is expected to be partially clad in metal and offer LTE connectivity. Unfortunately, the Galaxy A7 is expected to arrive in just a few countries, while the other two could be launched world-wide. This could have been planned by Sammy so as not to cannibalize the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

A few more pieces of the Galaxy A7 puzzle were discovered on the Indian import site Zauba. The site showed a device called the SM-A700, which obviously is the Galaxy A7, being shipped into India for testing and evaluation. The information on the site showed that the device carries a 5.5 inch screen, and has dual SIM slots.

We expect the Samsung Galaxy A7 to command a price in the $450 to $500 range. If the handset is still being tested in India, there still is plenty of time for more leaks to show up before it is officially unveiled. Keep it right here!

Seems like Samsung is trying to drop the S line name and move into A line. I see continuous a-model news lately. A-line is a cheaper variant, right? Can someone who knows more on this elaborate?

Samsung dropping the S line? Yeah, right. Meanwhile Ford will discontinue their F series of trucks, McDonald's will stop selling the Big Mac, and Nike will no longer carry the Air Jordans.

You sir, deserve a cookie ! I don't understand why people make such baseless assumptions. Infact, they are trying name everything with 'S-'. S-pen, S-Health, etc.

I think you meant "Whopper, Silverado, and whatever from Adidas," because all the items you mentioned are best sellers, and the S line is a distant second best.

I wasn't trolling, why get so worked up? Let me re-phrase the question: Where would you put the A-line models compared to S-line models?

like metal clad midranger series... S series is their flagship series, thats not a bad idea to drop galaxy name from midranger and low end devices but its not gonna happen soon

Well the A-line is still a Galaxay brand. I'm a bit confused...

um... this is a Samsung Galaxy A7 article... Is there really no way to gain interest of any product without putting Apple in to it?

Tell that to aba (shirtless Filipino user), but in Apple's perspective.

16. AlikMalix unregistered

I must say, I cannot disagree with you.. But this time and much more many times it's not him - like the example above...(aba really needs to cool it - every time I make a point for anti-apple floods of fanboism, they point to him - like he's the entire group of apple users here)

My apologies sir. I simply picked the most recently posted article. Going forward, I shall refrain myself from posting crap in unrelated articles.

It's ok, it just proves my point! But, I'll bite: have you tried googling nude photos of celebrities without filters - well, where do you think all these photos came from, bro?

lol, I see it posted on Yahoo, then I come here to talk crap only to realize that the articles doesn't get posted so I make the news myself in the comments section. Apparently I rub some folk the wrong way so I'll just wait to the Phone arena staff wakes up and does their own article.

PA has a feed back section, in which you can recommend/request to write an article about any news and trust me usually PA respond to recommendations/requests very well

Liking the new design changes. Hopefully not overpriced. Where are the people that complain about the non-metal design nao?
